Seeds with Sisters: Planting Intentions, Growth, and Community

This spring, I had the honor of attending Seeds with Sisters, a heart-rooted community gathering hosted by the beautiful soul Emily Warner of Living Wild, a wellness company and a retreat center. Set at the lush and magical Secret Garden Estate, the day offered more than just time in the soil—it was a sacred invitation to connect, reflect, and align with nature’s rhythms as we planted seeds for the season ahead.

As I arrived and sank my hands into the rich, freshly mixed soil—a vibrant blend of composted grass, wood chips, and earth—I felt instantly grounded. The beds were lovingly prepared with ashes and shungite, two potent natural elements known to protect, detoxify, and energize both the land and the people who walk it. A kind of energetic purification and fortification before new life begins.

The garden, in its quiet wisdom, mirrored my own inner landscape. Life, especially over the last few years in business and personal transformation, has been a mixture of nourishment, missteps, breakthroughs, and fertile failures. Just like compost, the mess has meaning—and growth is only possible because of it.

Lick the Seed, Feed the Soul

Before planting, we honored a curious yet powerful ritual—licking the seeds. Based on a deeply intuitive belief, this practice honors the connection between our body's needs and the intelligence of nature. By coating the seed in our saliva, we pass along our body’s unique information—nutrient deficiencies, internal rhythms, even emotional cues. In response, the plant is believed to grow in resonance with exactly what our body needs. Much like an infant’s saliva during breastfeeding signals the mother’s milk to adjust its composition, our bodies and nature speak in symbiotic whispers.

It was both science and sacredness in one tiny act.

From Chaos to Cultivation

Before planting anything in the ground, I found myself reflecting deeply:

  • What has worked in my life and business?

  • Where have I strayed from the plan—or never had one to begin with?

  • What deserves a celebration, and what needs to be lovingly let go?

In the stillness of the garden, these questions didn’t feel heavy. They felt alive. Just like soil turned for planting, I felt my own chaos aerating—making room for clarity, direction, and renewal.

Alongside carrots, beets, and sweetgrass, I sowed seeds for prosperity, health, healing, peaceful collaborations, and resourcefulness. Every handful of soil became a prayer for meaningful relationships, supportive community, and the quiet strength to keep showing up.

Harvesting the Moment

After our hands were dirt-kissed and our seeds tucked safely beneath the soil, we gathered in the kitchen for a warm-hearted potluck. We shared food, reflections, and laughter—celebrating sisterhood in its truest form. There’s something grounding and powerful about women gathering to work, eat, and reflect together.

To seal our intentions, we raised glasses of bubbly orange champagne and cheered to the beauty of our shared experience. We sent our desires—physical, emotional, and spiritual—into the universe with a sparkle and a smile.

An Invitation to You

Consciousness is awareness in action—recognizing that what we plant, and how we plant it, matters beyond ourselves.

So here’s our invitation to you:Find a community garden, a local nonprofit, or simply a patch of backyard (even 10x10 feet will do). Plant something—anything—with intention, love, and the commitment to care for its unfolding.

📿 Sprinkle a little ash for transformation.🌑 Add a bit of shungite for grounding and protection.👅 And maybe—just maybe—lick a seed and trust that your body knows what it needs.

Let this season be one of connection, reflection, and vibrant growth—for you, your community, and the earth we all share.

🌱 Plant with intention. Grow with love. Act with purpose. 🌱
