Business Consulting

I work closely with multiple stakeholders and management to facilitate strategy planning/decisions, optimize team performance, improve business processes and coordinate across teams on organization priorities and high-impact projects

Business Consultant picks up client business processes and manages process execution. Responsibilities include creating client-facing deliverables, offering strategic direction, leading client meetings and interactions, managing project completion criteria, supporting the operating rhythm while striving continually for areas of improvement and efficiencies, and clearly communicating organization priorities and milestones to stakeholders.

Strategic Planning

  • Lead fiscal year planning cycle for organization; including vision/mission/goals/objectives

  • Manage meeting cadences and milestones in support of company deadlines

  • Review future organization commitments to ensure appropriate planning, visibility and action



  • Lead daily operations to deliver on operational plans against strategic vision

  • Establish a structure and cadence of program and functional reviews to increase visibility and drive alignment.

  • Manage team content sites and ensure tools and documents are accessible


Cross-functional Management

  • Build relationships, facilitate decision making and consensus

  • Develop and utilize frameworks to drive visibility and alignment

  • Coordinate and complete upper management requests for information that require cross-team inputs and perspectives


Program Management/Change Management

  • Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to provide efficiency recommendations to clients, specifically focused on business operations and management

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement

    • Prioritize opportunities based on cost/benefit

    • Develop, document and catalog repeatable best practices

  • Budget Management

    • Lead fiscal year planning cycle for organization

    • Provide budget status and management recommendations in support of quarterly and annual metrics

    • Identify opportunities for process improvement focused on cost reduction

    • Partner with Finance to implement best practices

  • Metrics/KPI Reporting

    • Develop reporting cadence to support key decision times and upper management visibility

    • Support organization in developing appropriate KPI’s as part of fiscal planning process

  • Communications

    • Voice of the client in their absence

    • Work independently or across internal and external organizations to facilitate communication and collaboration

    • Develop internal organization communication plans/calendars and milestones

    • Develop drafts of communications for executive presentations and other communications deliverables
